Attending nail school was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. When I first enrolled, I was simply looking to learn the basics of nail care and design. What I didn’t expect was how deeply I would fall in love with the craft and how much it would transform not only my skills but also my confidence and career path. The education I received went far beyond polish and technique. I learned about nail health, sanitation, customer service, and even the business side of the beauty industry. Every day, I was challenged to grow creatively and professionally. My instructors pushed me to perfect my work and encouraged me to keep learning and evolving. That foundation gave me the tools I needed to not only succeed as a nail tech, but to thrive. After graduating, I launched my nail business with a passion and vision. Slowly but surely, I built a loyal client base, expanded my service menu, and found my personal style as an artist. The more I applied what I had learned, the more confident I became not just in my skills, but in my ability to lead. Today, I’m proud to say that I’ve grown into a management position, leading a talented team of nail techs. I mentor newer artists, guide the direction of the salon, and continue to work with clients. It’s been a full-circle moment starting as a student and now helping others build their own paths in the industry. If you’re considering nail school, I can’t recommend it enough. It’s more than a training program it’s a launchpad. With hard work, passion, and a willingness to grow, the possibilities are endless

Brandy was amazing. My nails were very bumpy. Instructor would see them and say “do you like them?” And would look at my nails and the mess that they were. I honestly would suggest her to shape and drill in different areas but I don’t think that acrylics are Brandy’s strong suit, at no fault of her own. I honestly wish her the best but I don’t believe I will be going back to the Sweetwater Institute Cosmetology for my nail services.
